United States: Several Hollywood celebrities who take Ozempic to reduce their weight now struggle with a new side effect known as “Ozempic mouth,” based on reports.

A New York-based cosmetic dermatologist has observed distinctive side effects in Tinseltown prescription drug users, including Sharon Osbourne, Whoopie Goldberg, and Rebel Wilson, after taking high-dose GLP-1 medications for rapid facial weight loss, according to DailyMail.com.
“Many users of Ozempic who I know report noticeable volume loss in the face, which can result in the formation of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and jowls around the mouth,” as Dr. Michele Green stated, as the New York Post reported.
“This volume loss can also worsen the appearance of existing fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity, contributing to a more aged smile and overall look,” Green added.

Green established that Ozempic mouth creates deep mouth folds with distinct lip creases and loose facial tissue extending from the lips to the chin.
People troubled by the changes to their mouth area now seek dermal fillers to restore facial volume.
According to Green, the outlet that fillers, an injectable substance used to improve the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles, and folds, can “restore volume to the face, smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and plump the skin to create a more youthful-looking appearance,” the New York Post reported.
